Certified Veterinary Technician

Requires an IL CVT License

We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Certified Veterinary Technician. Both full and part time positions can be accommodated. The full-time position would offer 35-40+ hours per week and part time will depend on candidate’s schedule and hospital needs.  We are currently abiding by social-distancing standards. Christensen Animal Hospital is a 2-doctor practice, locally owned, and operated for more than 85 years. For us, locally owned means we have the flexibility to make changes quickly and appropriately for our doctors, staff members, clients, and patients. We also have a responsibility to our community to represent them well and support them as best as we are able. Our team culture is assistance, respect, care, and having a little fun while we’re serving our community pets. We love pets and do our very best for them and their families.

We specialize in providing high-quality, compassionate, and convenient care for our patients. We “get” the human and animal bond and are committed to strengthening that bond through client education, teamwork, and thoughtful care. We are an innovative general practice and advanced surgical facility. We pride ourselves on being able to offer our patients and clients the convenience of specialty level care, whenever appropriate, right here, without additional travel and expense.
