Sheri moved to our area from Otter Lake, MI and attended Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. She spent about ten weeks at a koala hospital in Australia where she helped in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of koalas and would love to return someday! She became a Veterinary Technician here at Christensen in 2009 to help provide proper care for and over see the well-being of our four-legged friends. She loves spending time with her husband, Layne, watching movies, reading, video gaming, and doing anything animal related. She has a yellow Lab, Luke, and a Boston Terrier/French Bulldog mix, Gizmo Gremlin.
Crystle grew up in a small town in North Carolina. She has had a love and passion for animals since a very young age. Growing up she always had lots of animals including dogs, cats, and a horse. Crystle has also always had a love of water. Her parents and her moved to Florida for many years. While there she worked at two dolphin facilities, one of which is where she met her husband. Soon after getting married Crystle and her husband moved here to Wilmette. Soon after that she became privileged and blessed to be working here at Christensen Animal Hospital with so many amazing animals and such a wonderful team. In her free time Crystle likes to play board & video games with her husband and snuggle with their beautiful golden retriever Ziva.
Jenn grew up locally in Mt. Prospect. She has always had a love for animals and grew up with her favorite breed, German Shepherds. As a young child, she also had a number of small animals, including iguanas, chinchillas, and hamsters. She later graduated John Hersey High School and soon began her studies in Child Psychology at William Rainey Harper College. She married her husband in 2002 and moved her family, including her two children, to "the country". She currently resides in Lake Villa with her 4 dogs and a guinea pig. Her hobbies include gluten free cooking and baking, organic gardening, studying essential oils and blends, and raising autism and ADHD awareness.
Francie grew up here in Wilmette and has been taking her animals to Christensen since she was little. She studied Environmental Biology at Saint Mary's University in MN. She has always loved animals and has a few of her own including her cat, Totes, and parakeet,Ron. Her most recent addition is her Boston/Pug Mix Bill. Francie has a passion for being in the water and is a certified Divemaster. She hopes to one day pursue Shark Conservation. Until then, she is excited to be working with animals above ground at Christensen Animal Hospital.

Madison grew up just south of the Wisconsin boarder in Beach Park. She has always had a passion for animals and has grown up with many pets. Outside the hospital, she enjoys seaglassing, playing volleyball, and tomahawk throwing. Recently, she has become an ordained minister and is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge in many aspects of her life. Currently, Madison has a St. Bernard, Fenway, a Golden Retriever, Sandie, a cat, Duke, a turtle, Shadynasty, and a tortoise, Nigel.
